Morning Skies....

Hmm...The sky was ominous this morning on our way down to my house.  Lightroom allows me to make it appear even more so. 

The first photo is the sun attempting to breach the snow squalls on my way home from work.  Mighty impressive.

Ugh. It's Here....

Well, the White Death visited us last night.  I am not amused Mother Nature.  Sigh.  I knew it was coming, it's inevitable, but I don't have to be happy about it.  At all.  I hate being inconvenienced and no matter how much falls, it seems to create chaos in the Tri-State.  Still, I can find some interesting shots.

Another Week's Worth...

Okay...More weekly randomness.  So random I don't even remember what they are.  I know that I was really bored the other day at work (in truth, I was just super tired and motivating myself to stay conscious) when I shot the last few. 

I'm so exhausted that I don't have anything witty to impart today.  I will just let my photos speak for themselves....

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder....

So...This past weekend, Mara and I attended a Vintage Toy Show in Sharonville.  Mara is always on the prowl for Wizard of Oz memorabilia and I am invariably in pursuit of taking interesting photos.

This show was a treasure trove of fascinating (and truly frightening) items.  We only found one Oz set of figurines but there were hundreds of seriously creepy toys.  It seems that I cannot get away from the stuff of nightmares lately. 

Honestly, I feel a rather enormous amount of pity for the poor children of yesteryear.  Holy crap....take a gander at some the positively ghoulish toys they had to endure (I posted everything, but you can see to which I'm referring).  Seriously, give me a stick and a mudpie anyday...brrr.

Makin' Somethin' Outta Nothin'.......

Hmm...This week has rather boring photo-wise.  Maybe I've just been boring this week.  (That wouldn't be much of a stretch.) 

Well, I stopped at Dunkin Donuts on the way home today to surprise Mara with some Munchkins - or maybe to surprise myself with some Munchkins.  :)  Oh yeah, I purchased some regular tasties for everybody else.
 

I tried photographing some of my "loot" to make it even more delicious looking.
