Detours....

So, this morning after work - after I ran some errands - I turned onto the back-road I normally take to my house.  There was a big light-up sign which read "Road Closed at Tippenhauer Thur-Fri". 

Hmm...since I have no idea which side-road is Tippenhauer and the road crew has LIED to me before with this very sign, I decided to just drive and see what was going on today.

Needless to say,  one should never assume.  You know the old adage...yada, yada, yada.  I had to turn around, right there on Tippenhauer!

Doh!

Some goodness did come of my stubbornness (this time).  I spied some gorgeous lavender colored "prospective finch food".
