“Wrinkles should merely indicate where the smiles have been.” ~Mark Twain

So...

On to the left leg.

I had an appointment with the knee surgeon today to get the ball rolling on having my left knee fixed.  I am still in awe over how well my right leg feels now!  They did a few x-rays and tomorrow morning I am scheduled for an MRI.  Hopefully, this one isn't too terribly bad - although it really hurts, it's nowhere near as painful as my right leg was.

Here are my ouchies - from the "see-through" perspective...

See where there is some space on the outsides of the joints?  There's supposed to be space all the way through the joints, but as you can see, I am bone-on-bone.  Ouch.

I'll post the MRI results next week after my next doctor appointment.  We'll know then if there will actually be another surgery.

“The earth laughs in flowers.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

So...

After editing my current collection of photos stored on Lightroom, I have found out I must LOVE flowers (duh).

“I must have flowers, always, and always.” -Claude Monet

It may take a few days to post all of the photos I have, so, I don't overwhelm my blog with only flowers.

We visit so many different places on our adventures and these past few weeks it seems like every spot has had beautiful flowers.  I can't help but take their portraits....

“I grabbed a pile of dust, and holding it up, foolishly asked for as many birthdays as the grains of dust, I forgot to ask that they be years of youth." ~Ovid, Metamorphoses

Well...

This past Monday (May 8th) was my "19th Annual 35th Birthday" and Mara, Pappy and I had some adventures.

We stopped at Abby Girl Sweets for my gourmet birthday cupcakes...Yummy...

Then we were going to visit the Cincinnati Art Museum but I forgot they are closed on Mondays...so we sat in the shade in their parking lot and ate our cupcakes.

Then we decided to visit the Butterfly Show at the Krohn Conservatory since we were already in the park.  I took a whole mess of photos but I'm only posting a few tonight (I edited down from 500 to 240 in my stash - then I processed a few).

We saw cacti....

Orchids....

And butterflies...(there were 85 different species in the show but I know I didn't see THAT many).

I promise there will be plenty more photos from all of our recent adventures very soon.

Until next time...
