I'M BACK!!
I have returned from my ten week exile into dayshift purgatory. Holy. Crap. Sometimes I wonder if the monkeys are running the circus.
Well...since I didn't really get to do much except work 50-70 hours every week, not many photos were taken. I have 20 or so here to start me off tonight. It's the regular mish-mash, so....
More Lego building. I did more but this was the only one I photographed.
And that time Mara made Gingerbread Cookies....I think I see Borat in there - and Chewbacca (and a grumpy old man - Pappy).
And I must have spent some extra time sitting in the car...
This mirror is actually 2 cars over...
And THIS one....this wasn't what I had planned on posting. It's just a teeny portion of the photo I was processing. When I happened to look at one of the modules in Lightroom, THIS creepy-assed face was staring back at me. Holy crap...no wonder I have nightmares.
And when I first saw this, I couldn't decide whether or not it was misspelled on purpose. Probably not....
THEN...I bought two new lenses!! A 50mm to replace the one I broke last year and a 24mm so I can start on my new project. Hopefully, I can get my brain schedule back on track so I can begin shooting soon. I'm excited! I will probably leave the 24mm on Chuck until I can get a better understanding of how it will work for what I have planned. So far, so good. I'll apologize now for all of the weird things I will be shooting to determine how this lens will work on interiors. Like these...
OOPS!!
And since it is a macro lens, I was trying to see how macro-y it actually is. The shortest focal distance is 6" so this will be fun.
YES!! I like this lens! (This is a button for one touch dialing on the office phone.)
Pappy and I were driving past Lunken Airport the other day and happened to see this plane. How cool!
And this Chrysler TC - masquerading as a Maserati (it was actually a collaboration of the two).
And some randomness...(I think the first one was another unintentional photo from me wrestling with Chuck.)
And this one...from when I was using the loo at Joseph Beth...I was trying to shoot the cool ornate frames around all of the mirrors when a lady walked in on me and scared me...not that it looked weird or anything.
And the sky was on fire Monday night...when I stopped to buy my daily ration of Full Throttles...
